The character
Mongoose is the process hunter. He does not charge at the snake. He watches it. He studies the rhythm, waits for the opening, then moves fast enough to make something dangerous look manageable. That is Luke's character inside The Regulated: the person who sees massive compliance processes as living systems — intimidating, coiled, full of hidden motion — and believes they can be understood, simplified, and made less hostile to the people stuck inside them.
Luke's story starts close to healthcare. His father was a doctor, and Luke grew up seeing the cost of bad systems after hours: charts at night, hospital friction, paperwork stealing time from patients. He did not become a doctor, but the mission stayed with him. Corporate finance, defense consulting, and regulated operations gave him a different operating room: the back office.
Why he's in your corner
Mongoose cares because administrative drag is not abstract. It lands on real people. Doctors lose time. AP teams chase approvals. Employees carry balances because expense tools are too painful to use. Compliance matters — but Mongoose refuses to accept that important work has to be slow, manual, and punishing.
His lens is simple: great systems get great people back to the work only they can do.
